"RISE" - The Multimedia Magazine will be delivered in an interactive format, which includes audio and video interviews, featured articles, and reported information concerning topics, organizations, people, places and things that support wellness, awareness, and recovery. There will be a calendar of events that are of interest to residents in the Georgia area, and valuable resources available for those interested in spiritual, mental and physical wellness - self/community awareness - and recovery from our addictive behaviors. "RISE" - The Multimedia Magazine is being written and edited primarily by experienced persons with the direct support of certified holistic healthcare providers, and medical professionals from the National Minority Clinical Research Association (NMCRA). The wellness news and education magazine is scheduled to be produced on a monthly basis, and augmented by mobile text and email updates. As an added attraction for our growing database of opt-in magazine recipients, we will include music, discounts and free giveaways provided by our advertisers and underwriters. "RISE" - The Multimedia Magazine is distributed in various multimedia formats (delivered by video on email, phone, Twitter, Facebook, web, waiting rooms, restaurants, etc.) to people everywhere. Here in Georgia, there is a growing coalition of organizations that will support the information in the magazine. At present, it includes the National Minority Clinical Research Association, The Elite Society of the Undetectables, SisterLove, Inc., Making A Way Housing, AID Atlanta, Positive Impact, HIV Anonymous, Someone Cares, Inc. of Atlanta, Choice Housing, Inc., and WRFG-89.3FM, many holistic healthcare providers, including nutritionist, massage therapist, natural food chef's, yoga instructors, dance instructors and more. If you are interested in being a cross-promotional partner, content contributor, underwriter, or being featured in "RISE"; email - participate@rise4war.com "RISE" - The Multimedia Magazine will contain culturally competent medical information provided and supported by the National Minority Clinical Research Association (NMCRA), an organization with thousands of medical professionals serving minority communities that are disproportionately affected by disease. There are unique opportunities for companies, small businesses and organizations to contribute to this effort. If you are interested in advertising, sponsorship, or funding a medical educational grant to help support our efforts to provide this training and collect and assess the kinds of clinical research needed to enhance the quality of care in our communities, please call NMCRA at (404) 566-2350 or email info@nmcra.org |
